A jacket style heavy cotton shirt with western-inspired collar, two front welt pockets,
a chest patch pocket and a two piece felled sleeve which splits into a square cuff.
This style features a front flap closure over the chest, attached with velcro, and
an embossed branding patch in an off-white apple leather. It is cut from a luxurious,
tightly twisted cotton with a light grained surface which is naturally water
repellent due to its dense weave.
This cotton ‘ritorto’ is made by one of the best Italian poplin weavers; designing
and producing the weaves while overseeing the entire
process from cotton bud to final fabric in their own facilities, ensuring a high level
of sustainability. The mill operates with its own energy center, comprising a turbogas
plant and five photovoltaic plants, with further contributions to CO2 offsetting,
and a hydroelectric power station under construction.
The apple leather is made from recycled cotton and apple waste, coated with a
non toxic PU film from another innovative Italian company working towards a
fully circular product.
